Removal of a basal cell cancer off the top of the hand
Doing procedures in the elderly can always be a little bit challenging. In this case, the patient was on blood thinners but instead of taking the risk of taking her off her blood thinners I simply tied these off during the procedure and then released them after. Pathology confirmed this to be a basal cancer with complete margin removal.
